My name is Michelle Diaz. Born in a Caribbean Island (Dominican Republic) but currently established in New York. I think I got the love for photography from my Grandma and Mom; they love taking pictures and developing films. My childhood house is full of print photos my grandmother and mom collected over time. Each photo has a story and each story brings a memory. I guess that's why I like being around cameras and photos.
I have been shooting, as a hobby, since I was in High School but since 2016 I decided to make it a profession. I really enjoy capturing a special moment in time, convert it into a picture, and making it a memory. I will say my style is really versatile. I can go from traditional to candid to avante garde without struggling. I am friendly, talkative and definitely not shy which makes me really easygoing. I believe taking a picture can change the future because you can have a frozen moment that will bring you joy.
